Our Story
PermitMe was first conceptualised alongside Todd Energy, who were struggling with a paper-based permitting system that caused delays, lost documents, and relied on hard-to-read handwriting.
The platform was co-designed with the people in the field. Through many hands-on meetings, rapid iterations, and careful trial and error, we built the simplest permitting system possible—without compromising on safety or functionality.
Development started in early 2023, and PermitMe was launched later that year. In 2024, it was awarded the "Most Innovative Solution" at the Digital Workplace Awards for setting new standards in workplace safety and efficiency.
Since then, many more companies have jumped on board. By working closely with their teams of permit issuers and compilers, PermitMe has evolved into the comprehensive application it is today.
As a New Zealand-based company with customers throughout New Zealand and Australia, we bring a highly practical, hands-on approach that is directly informed by how Australasian industries operate on the ground.
